Students Curriculum:
The levels of the new HSK corresponding to the levels of the Chinese Language Proficiency Scales for Speakers of Other Languages (CLPS) and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF)
HSK1: Understand and use very simple Chinese words and phrases.
HSK2: Have an excellent grasp of basic Chinese and can communicate in simple and routine tasks.
HSK3: Communicate in Chinese at a basic level in their daily, academic and professional lives.
HSK4: Converse in Chinese on a wide range of topics and are able to communicate fluently with native Chinese speakers.
HSK5: Read Chinese newspapers and magazines, enjoy Chinese films and plays, and give a full-length speech in Chinese.
HSK6: Easily comprehend written and spoken information in Chinese and can effectively express themselves in Chinese, both orally and on paper.
Tests: Format and structure of the HSK test, including listening, reading, and writing components.
HSK1 & HSK2: Only listening and reading are tested, without writing part.
HSK3 – HSK6: Listening and reading and writing are tested
